What is the Parota tree and why do we work with it?
The Parota tree produces one of the most beautiful woods in existence. Its heartwoods (betas) are remarkably spectacular; making them truly unique .The Parota tree is native to the tropical regions of America with a diverse variety of forms and sizes. Its heights can reach up to 115 ft. and the diameter of its trunk can be as much as 10 feet wide. This tree is found in Mexico , in the southern state of Sinaloa and up to the state of Guerrero but the tallest and most magnificent ones are found in Jalisco and Colima because the environment there favors their growth . This exotic wood is known for its incredible beauty given its rare properties in the matters of color and texture.
